Call for Board of Directors

The Centre for Research and Innovation in the Bio-Economy (CRIBE) has an open call for its Board of Directors and is seeking applicants with relevant experience and knowledge from across Canada.

CRIBE wishes to strengthen the transparency, equity, diversity and inclusion of its Board of Directors, with full representation of the forest bio-economy value chain. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Forest products and/or forest management,
• Indigenous engagement,
• Biochemicals,
• Biomaterials,
• Technology Development,
• End user/Industry Experience

Expectations of successful candidates will be attending four Board meetings each year, a mix of both in person and virtual, and to support committee work by leveraging their experience and knowledge. This is a volunteer position.
